Happy Sunday Evening Bookworms!

I have this weeks wisdoms, a little delayed because of work but I have learned quite a lot over the past few days.

1. Sticky is a the worst feeling in the world

2. Read everything carefully, it will prevent you from making a fool out of yourself

3. Friends is an amazing show and I can't believe it has taken me this long to watch it

4. Netflix is amazing ( and highly addictive)

5. Dogs love too much, that is why they are always so tired

6. Saving tips is a good way to save money for something like that bag you have always wanted, that new foundation/lipstick/mascara you have been wanting, or saving for a Spring Break trip

7. Online shopping is a great way to blow off some steam and give the feeling that you are spending money without actually spending. ( That is until the temptation to hit 'continue to checkout button' is very high)

Happy to post something. Maybe this week I can get my monthly favorites and maybe, hopefully, even something! Yes, you heard me correctly, I have finally cleaned enough of my house to have a small area to film. I want to do a small intro, a monthly favorites and maybe an empties video. For now, east coast, enjoy the warmer weather!

Lots of Love,

Good Evening Bookworms!

Here are this weeks 'Wednesday Wisdoms", and since I have started working, my posting has not been consistent, so I will post these wisdoms towards the end of the week, probably Thursday or Friday night and just call them Weekly wisdoms. So here they are

1. When ordering anything at a food counter, please put your phone away, instead of saying hold on, and then text for the next 5 minutes, its rude, to put it nicely

2. Better late than never, while an old cliche, is very true, remember that before you get mad at someone for being/ doing something late

3. Emotional attachments to fictional characters is completely normal

4. Tips, even if it is just a few cents, is greatly appreciated ( and those cents add up quickly)

5. Time is precious, so spend it with those who will jump through hoops to just spend a few hours or even minutes with you

6. Missing someone is just a reminder that you love them

7. Friends are the ones who ask for a bit of your food, best friends are the ones who help themselves to the food off of your plate or the drink in your hand and help themselves

Enjoy your Memorial day weekend to those of you in the States. Get some sun for me!

As promised Bookworms, I have another post for you all.

As a fellow college student who is in a never ending battle of wanting her makeup to look flawless and effortless, I also don't have a lot (practically none) disposable income to spend on makeup or lessons to give the desired look. While Youtube is a haven for everything makeup these days, from finding your skins undertone to applying the perfect red lipstick, a tutorial can only help so much. I need someone telling me what to do and seeing/verifying that I am doing whatever it is, correctly. Lucky for all of you, I found a couple of ways to help, and it won't break the bank, and it can require a little to a lot of your time.

While walking around the little strip mall neat my house, I found myself, like every other beauty addict/junkie, walking into a makeup store, this one happened to be Bluemercury. While browsing the shelves I found a flier about upcoming make up events they were having. While reading I noticed that the events are welcome to whoever is available, all you have to do is call and make an appointment as there are limited seats.  It's that simple, and there are events from Bobbi Brown, to Laura Mercier to Nars; and all events have makeup artists trained by the respected company who run these events and are familiar with the products. A free makeup lesson by trained makeup artists, sign me up!

Don't have a Bluemercury near you, not to worry.

I am sure everyone knows about the Sephora Beauty Insider/ VIB Rouge memberships. But did you know that with both those status, yes both, not just the Rouge, that you can sign up for classes taught by trained Sephora employees. I have seen classes from how to contour to how to wear a bright lip color for you skin tone and everything in between. You can go online, find the Sephora near you, sign up, and perfect your makeup skills, no schooling or money required.

And our final option- good old makeup counters
While I won't go through each makeup brand that offers these services, I know that various brands at their counters, such as Bobbi Brown, in large department stores, such as Bloomingdale's or Nordstroms, offer classes ranging from 10 minutes to I believe 30 mins, that are free of cost last time I checked. I think MAC also offers these, however, I think that depending on what the class is, there may be a cost, correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope these could help some of you who, like me, sometimes need a little more than a tutorial on Youtube to master the perfect contour or cat flick. If you have any more information on brands that offer tutorials to there customers, let me know by emailing me at:, or just send an e-mail to say hello! Good night and talk to all of you very soon.

Lots of Love,
Hello bookworms! I have some news!

While I have about seven different ideas running through my head for a blog post, none of them are going to be this one, but I pinky promise that I will have another post up tonight.

While I was doing my daily Youtube binge, I realized that I am connected to the most popular social networks except one, Twitter.

So I have created a twitter account for all of you wonderful people to follow. Unfortunately, because of character restrictions, I had to tweak my username to bookworminstyle, which bummed me out a bit, but what can you do? So go on over to Twitter now and say hello, what you would like to see from me now that I have more free time or just tell me about you. I want to get to know some of the people who click on my blog and read my post ( no matter how inconsistent they have been recently)

That is all for now, now I can start on that post I promised.

Lots of Love,

Sorry for my absence, I decided to take the day off and post a little later so I could celebrate my birthday with my best friend. But now I am back and ready to go.

Just a quick update, I am home from the summer, which means I will be able to be more active and present on my blog, and I will be working so hopefully I can post much more and give you guys something more than just the regular Wednesday Wisdoms and the occasional random post. But for now, here are the past weeks Wednesday Wisdoms,

1. Don't be so hard on your self, you are doing just fine

2. Catching all the green lights on the way home from work will instantly make your day.

3. Sprinkles can land in places you didn't think possible

4. What ever you do, do it right or don't do it at all

5. There is that one song that you have that always puts you a good mood

6. Finding a song that you love that you forgot about on your phone is another instant mood booster

7. When working at an ice cream shop, you go through singles at a very fast rate, as in you can go through 50 singles in less than 5 minutes

For now, that is all I have. Hope everyone enjoys there Friday. I'll be back before you know it!

Good Evening Bookworms,

I don't know about all of you, but I am so ready for Friday, (it may have to do with the fact that Friday is my last day of classes for this year!) But none the less, it is still Wednesday and that means Wednesday Wisdoms. There are not many this week, as this week as flown by too quickly for me to truly process. But here are the few things I learned over the past few days.

1. Never save packing until the last minute; whether it is for vacation, long weekend to moving out of your dorm for college. You have a lot more stuff to pack then you think, so make a list and break it up into sections, it will make life easier and a lot less stressful.

2. The thought of being home, seeing your parents and doge and sleeping in your own bed is enough motivation to get through a tough week

3.Asking for clarification is never something that you should feel embarrassed about

4. There is no place like home (yes, that was a cheesy reference to The Wizard of Oz)

5. You don't realize how much certain people are a part of your daily routine until they leave for the summer

6. If it is finals week for anyone, remember; this is the time when printers can smell feel, so don't get too close to them

Like I said, this was incredibly short, but in my mind, a full week hasn't even gone by.

Hope everyone is enjoying their week, I hope to talk to you all really soon.

Lots of Love,
